The Luminate Marketing Client Manager plays a crucial role of Project and Relationship Manager.

This role serves to build and maintain relationships with Clients and helps keep all projects on time, on track, and within scope. Working closely with both the Client and Luminate Marketing design team, Client Managers will be actively attuned to the clients’ needs and identify additional projects as applicable. The Client Manager leads the client and team to ensure the details of the Contract are delivered upon, and that Workplans are created and followed, adhering to deadlines. The role will manage existing client projects and also field, support and lead new business inquiries and calls. Client Managers at Luminate Marketing are responsible for onboarding new clients, getting them set up in Asana (Luminate’s Project Management System), scheduling all meetings, preparing agendas, booking meeting rooms, and ensuring phone or video call-in details are successfully received and approved by all parties.

During meetings, the Client Manager takes excellent notes, and then schedules tasks afterwards, assigning them to all relevant team members and tracking work through to completion. The Client Manager works closely with the entire team to ensure excellence as it pertains to efficiency and effectiveness.

At the end of the project, the Client Manager will ensure the Client is satisfied, the Contract and internal offboarding process is fully completed, and the online portfolio is updated to showcase featured work.

The Client Manager monitors team capacity, ensures proper time tracking, and coordinates all meeting logistics(including on-site meetings or travel, as needed). The Client Manager serves a crucial role of ensuring that the Luminate Team operates efficiently and effectively in serving the needs of our clients. They are the champion of their clients and manage this relationship above and beyond expectations.

Ultimately, the Client Manager’s duties are to ensure that the relationships with Clients they are managing go well, and that for those Clients all projects are completed on time, within budget and fulfill Contract obligations.


● Coordinate for excellent execution of projects on-time, within scope and within budget

● Ensure resource availability and allocation

● Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders

● Oversee and facilitate end-to-end client onboarding process

● Create Project Workplans and break them into tasks and set timeframes

● Serve as liaison with clients to provide project updates and identify new potential projects

● Assign tasks to internal teams and assist with schedule management

● Take excellent notes, and develop and distribute meeting agendas and notes

● Manage all meeting logistics (booking rooms, travel, calendar invitations, etc.)

● Make sure that clients’ needs are met as projects evolve

● Lead or provide support in new business development and management of potential clients

● Analyze risks and identify opportunities to mitigate potential impact to client

● Monitor project progress and partner with Luminate Marketing team to handle any issues that

● Act as the point of contact and communicate project status to all participants, including internal

● Use tools to monitor working hours, plans and expenditures

● Issue all appropriate legal paperwork (e.g. contracts and terms of agreement) are distributed


Bachelor’s degree in business administration, business management, or related field.

5+ years in a client service or related field in a marketing organization, ministry, or small

● Hands-on experience with project management tools (e.g. Asana) and Google apps platform
   (e.g. Google docs, drive)

Basic knowledge and experience with WordPress, Adobe Creative Cloud, MailChimp and CRM
   tools a plus

● Experience in project management, from conception to delivery

● Direct experience in managing a portfolio of client accounts, existing and new business, and
   delivering excellence in relationship and service management

● Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management

Candidate must be tech-savvy - willing and capable of identifying opportunities to leverage
   modern project management tools to drive efficiency and seamless collaboration across project

● Candidate must be capable of working autonomously, with limited instruction, to proactively
   seek solutions to existing problems; a self-starter

● Exhibit exemplary level of professionalism both internally and externally; excellent
   communication skills both written and verbal, internally and externally
