We are hiring a Donor Relations Coordinator who will report to the Director of Donor Relations, and provide support for the Donor Relations team and provide assistance as needed for seasonal department projects. This position requires a highly relational self-starter with excellent time management skills, strong communication skills, high level attention to detail and ability to remain focused working both in an open office layout and also home environment.
Assist team in planning, and execution of mid-level and major-level donor-centered strategy as prioritized by Director of Donor Relations
Manage small donor service portfolio of mid-level donors under guidance of Director of Donor Relations
Provide general and communication support to donor relations team including: reports, research, CRM, weekly report. Ability to keep all Donor Relations information highly confidential within donor relations department
Assist in planning and execution of donor and listener events within USA as needed
Daily communication of donations to team
Occasional evening/ weekend work and minimal travel required. Monthly in person meetings with Director of Donor Relations at Milwaukee Headquarters and occasional Dallas meetings
Briefly connect with DoDR daily, along with weekly Zoom meeting – logging notes
Prepare supplies for team and assist in execution of year-end gift mailing for major donors, as well as smaller touchpoint mailings.
3-4 years in non-profit customer service, preferably in similar role in non-profit ministry supporting 2-3 person donor relations team
Ability to learn development tasks/theory and posture of Telling The Truth with Director of Donor Relations.
Experience with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite required
Responsive, highly relational, service-minded attitude with calm and professional demeanor, grace and poise
Work closely with DoDR to prioritize and execute time management varying each week. Happily pivot as needed
Patience, perseverance, and flexibility to juggle fast-paced varied responsibilities and multiple projects
Sense of humor and empathy for the highs and lows development officers experience in their work with donors and dollars
Personal character that demonstrates high moral standards, adherence to biblically-based values, humility, a servant spirit, ability to maintain strict confidentiality, trustworthiness, growing relationship with Jesus Christ and rock-solid integrity.
