Job Description

Providence House is a two-year transformational housing program for single men & women recovering from trauma, addiction, mental illness and homelessness. This program is operated within a large home at 801 Logan Street in the Capitol Hill neighborhood of Denver.

This male, live-in staff position at Providence House offers an opportunity to meaningfully engage and contribute within our unique 23-person community. We consider ourselves a spiritual family and work hard to preserve a culture of openness and connection where we learn, struggle, work, celebrate and play together! As a Care Coordinator in the home, you will be responsible for up to five male residents, overseeing their progress in the program and supporting them as they travel the hard road toward self-sufficiency and whole-life transformation. 

In addition to this unique role, you will support the four-member live-in staff team by enforcing program structure and fostering the home’s culture of family and belonging. For example, all staff is responsible for one on-duty night (5-9pm) and asked to be intentionally present in the community throughout the week, including evening meals 3x/week (6pm). All staff attend meetings on Mondays (330-830pm) and Thursdays (1-3pm). You will also be assigned house management and administrative tasks.


  • Strong sense of calling to this population
  • Emotional and spiritual maturity
  • Experience with case management is preferable
  • Understanding of addiction, mental illness and the recovery process is beneficial
  • Highly values community living
  • Ability to initiate meaningful conversation and social interaction
  • Appreciation for the importance of positive role modeling
  • Comfortable signing Providence Network’s Statement of Faith (available upon request)

HOURS: 30/week

COMPENSATION:: Salary commensurate with experience plus free housing (own bedroom/shared bathroom), utilities, Internet and dinners. Annual wellness stipend and up to $50/mo toward cell phone expense. 10 paid holidays and 16 PTO.
