Job Description

JAARS Fellows is an 11-month, merit-based, professional opportunity that provides entry into a first career position, cultivates emerging leaders, and unleashes the world of missions. Fellows join JAARS staff in key positions to make Bible translation and life transformation possible.

The Aviation Training Fellow will serve alongside the Aviation Training team which ensures that pilots around the world have the knowledge and hands-on experience to thrive in their unique contexts as well as comply with aviation standards. He or she will specifically be focused on digitizing the content of aviation training modules, and helping implement strategies to record and track training completion.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Assisting in the implementation of a learning management system (LMS) for JAARS Aviation Training
  • Digitizing aviation training content so that it can be accessed around the world
  • Collaborating on the development of a continuous professional training program for JAARS Aviation
  • Assisting the Aviation Training Manager on other projects
  • Other job-related duties as assigned by your manager

Fellows Program Requirements

  • Value global ministry
  • At least 18 years old
  • Learner attitude
  • Collaborative

 

Preferred

  • Experience with e-learning platforms and learning management systems
  • Majors include Aviation Business Management, Aviation Business Administration, Business Flight, Business Administration, and Flight Administration
