Classification:  Support Staff / Sat & Sun graveyard and possible on-call / non-exempt

Salary:  $20 hour

CityTeam is a Christian non-profit dedicated to supporting communities by meeting immediate needs and enabling lasting solutions for those struggling with poverty, homelessness, and addiction. Being part of CityTeam is not just a career but a calling. Whether we’re working on the front-lines in Programs or working behind the scenes in Support Services, we feel privileged to use our education, experience, and gifts to love people and bring glory to God.

CityTeam has two trucks and teams of drivers for the Starbucks FoodShare program. We are currently looking for a dependable driver to pick up rescued food from approximately 40 San Jose Starbucks locations on Saturday and Sunday nights during the graveyard shift. Since you will be transporting perishable food, you must have or be willing to obtain, with CityTeam’s assistance, your SafeServe food handling certificate. The FoodShare Driver will need to work independently, always keeping safety a top priority. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable individual who may already be working during the day and wishes to supplement his or her income, as the pick-up times are after normal business hours. This position will specifically work every Saturday and Sunday evening. There is also the opportunity to pick up extra shifts to help cover other drivers when they are sick or on vacation. Each night’s schedule will be a full 8-hours. There is no flexibility on work times, as the pick-ups must be made in the designated window of 9:00 pm-5:30 am.

The Weekend FoodShare Driver is a 16-hour a week non-exempt position wrapped up in a Christian environment that values Teamwork, Accountability, Humility, Innovation, and Joy.
