Gospel for Asia is seeking an experienced Web Designer with a heart for transforming the lives of the impoverished and hurting through Jesus Christ. This is an opportunity to let God put your talents to use in a Christ-focused ministry with an enormous eternal impact.
Work with internal online team, marketing team and external agencies to drive the look and feel of GFA’s digital platforms
Design, create, and optimize graphic content for social media, online ads, emails, articles and website use
Oversee the creation and maintenance of digital assets for use by the organization
Research, select and customize appropriate photography per project from GFA’s vast digital media library to reflect marketing message
Edit photography quickly and save for future manipulation by team members
Design by stated brand guidelines and suggest guidelines where none exist
Translate project objectives into cohesive design elements across all touchpoints of a user’s digital journey
Translate organization requirements into intuitive user interfaces
Work on multiple projects simultaneously and manage time effectively to meet deadlines
Understand or learn basics of responsive web design for proper digital asset creation
Present mockups and complete designs that show an understanding of the organization and users’ needs
Lead projects from concept to completion. Apply best practices in user interface and interactive design, including image optimization
Adobe Creative Suite, primarily Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
Sketch of similar UX design tool (Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, Invision, etc.)
Layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography & limitations of the web
UX design, brand development, interactive design and creative process
Marketing campaigns and ways design supports digital channels
Storytelling through digital design
Basic video editing tools

Education: BA/BS or equivalent practical experience.
3+ years in graphic design work with an emphasis on digital.
