We are looking for people to serve as a Senior Financial Analyst; primarily performs financial planning, analysis and projections and makes resultant recommendations; analyzes financial status by collecting, monitoring, and studying data; forecasts expenditures to establish cost structures and determine capital budgeting for projects in support of senior leadership; leverage strong accounting and compliance backgrounds to explore historical financial data, predict future results and drive process and policy improvements.

Maintain consistency across various financial models including data related to key items in the income statement and balance sheet.
Maintain sophisticated queries. This requires extracting data as well as checking and reconciling output.
Prepare reports and projections based on analysis.
Gather and report performance metrics for the month.
Evaluate current capital expenditures and depreciation.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Auditing, Business Management Information Systems, Economics or related field.
Professional certification helpful.
4+ years of experience in Finance, Accounting, Audit or Statistical Report and or sufficient experience to demonstrate competencies.
Experience supporting global organizations and teams.

JAARS is a 501(c)(3) non-profit Christian ministry headquartered on a beautiful 500+ acre campus just south of Charlotte, NC. Our campus includes extensive training facilities, an airport, office and commercial facilities, guest housing, food services, recreational areas, health clinic, on-site childcare, and youth and family ministry support for staff and partners.
We are pleased to have more than five hundred people serving on our campus. We partner closely with SIL International, the organizations of the Wycliffe Global Alliance and other organizations locally and globally.

We need more staff to make in possible. Of those who work at the JAARS Center in Waxhaw, N.C., 50% are volunteers either short- or long-term, full- or part-time, and of all ages and training backgrounds. Missionaries and a few paid personnel round out the staff.
