Langham Partnership, a ministry initiated in 2002, works alongside national leaders to provide human and material resources to strengthen the preaching and teaching of the Word of God. Langham Partnership is comprised of six national members (UK, USA, Australia, Hong Kong, New Zealand, and Canada), and works in partnership with, and at the invitation of local church leaders, in 131 countries.
This position will be located in the USA, ideally in the Phoenix, Arizona area - details of which will be discussed in the intrview process.
VISION & MISSION STATEMENT
To see churches equipped for mission and growing to maturity in Christ through the ministry of pastors and leaders who believe, teach and live by the Word of God.
To strengthen the ministry of the Word of God through:
Nurturing national movements for training in biblical preaching;
Multiplying the creation and distribution of evangelical literature; and
Strengthening the theological training of pastors and leaders by qualified evangelical teachers.
As a copywriter, you will work closely with the Content Manager & Director of Marketing to research and write clear and compelling copy for use in a variety of formats (website, email, social media platforms) and for a variety of purposes (informative/storytelling and direct marketing/campaign oriented).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES – including but not limited to the following:
Key Result Area #1 – Copywriting/Content Creation (70%)
Collaborate with the Content Manager and Marketing Director to determine priority of writing assignments.
Write compelling, clear and response-oriented copy (stories, captions, blog and social media posts, landing pages, donor appeals, proposals, Langham APP, etc.) and other collateral (brochures, one sheets, press releases, etc.)that adhere to the Langham voice and brand.
As needed, edit for content, grammar, organization, and adherence to internal style guides.
Assist in managing the communication calendar for assigned projects.
Give and receive creative ideas, edit the work of others, be edited, and work quickly and harmoniously in the creative process.
Key Result Area #2 – Assist in researching and gathering stories(20%)
Participate in brainstorming and planning for future content needs
Conduct interviews with field staff and program beneficiaries to be used in producing stories and other communications
Work with program leadership as needed to gather data
Assist in maintaining a system of storing resources (interviews, photos, stories, etc.), logging quotes, tagging photos, etc.
Key Result Area #3– Provide support for other communication initiatives across the organization (10%)
Support Marketing and other departments in key campaigns, management of projects, and other related areas as assigned.

Multilingual a plus
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; 5 to 7 years writing experience in a professional setting, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
