Gospel for Asia is seeking an experienced Direct Mail Strategist with a heart for transforming the lives of the impoverished and hurting through Jesus Christ. As a Direct Mail Strategist with GFA, at our headquarters outside Dallas, Texas, you will collaborate with leaders to optimize GFA’s direct mail. Optimizes return on investment for GFA’s direct mail, especially for fundraising by:
Analyzing return on investment.
Creating and presenting reports, analyses and strategies for improving direct mail to Development leaders.
Working with Development leaders and team members to improve direct mail, including coordinating meetings, decision-making processes and the implementation of strategy decisions.
Planning, evaluating and recording direct mail testing.
Reviewing/Facilitating direct mail pieces throughout the production process, especially when new strategies are being implemented and when direct mail pieces are varied for specific audiences.
Manages GFA’s direct mail list segmentation; strategizes and implements list segmentation improvements; and executes selections for each mailing.
Maintain a servant heart and attitude toward fellow staff
Create and analyze reports
Present reports, analyses and strategy suggestions
Be self-motivated to organize work and meet deadlines
Coordinate projects from start to finish, including multiple projects at the same time
Be flexible, adaptable and take direction

Work confidentially and with discretion
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and especially Excel. Some experience with PowerPivot is beneficial but not required.
Ability to analyze project costs and return on investment
Understanding and experience using Teamwork Projects or other project management software
Excellence in leadership, communication, project management, organization, problem solving and time management
Understanding of marketing and fundraising, especially for the Western Christian audience
Strong consistency and attention to detail
Interpersonal skills using diplomacy, tact, patience and courtesy
Proficiency in English writing and grammar
Has a personal relationship with Jesus Christ
Education: BA/BS or equivalent work experience
Experience: 1+ years in direct mail, or 2+ years working in marketing and/or fundraising with a willingness to learn direct mail
