Job Description

I & R Coordinator Qualifications

Must have a relationship that is active and growing in Christ. Must adhere to HFJ Standards of Ministry. Must be prayed up and committed to building a substantial volunteer bank of reliable women to serve. Must possess the qualities of grace, humility, patience, mercy, obedience as well as a teachable spirit. Must be honest, trustworthy and of virtuous character. Must possess effective communication skills, management skills as well as the ability to multi-task. Must be detailed oriented and organized. Must also adhere to the values and standards of ministry of Hookers for Jesus and convey its purpose to others. Must have a valid unrestricted driver license.

I & R Coordinator Job Description

Assesses client’s needs

Provides information and referrals to clients that are seeking help

Determines the appropriate referrals and resources for clients that reach out for help

Follows up on cases to determine the outcome of the referral

Keeps stellar records and follows procedures and protocol as defined by Hookers for Jesus

Documents assistance and resources that were provided and follows procedures as outlined by Hookers for Jesus

.Conducts initial phone interview with potential Destiny House clients

Coordinates and schedules potential clients for interviews and assessment for entrance into Destiny House

Sets appointments to visit potential Destiny House clients that are incarcerated

Teaches Bible Studies inside the jails

Keeps in touch with clients that have reached out for help

Prays with clients

Drives outreach clients to appointments

Responsible for managing clients that have reached out for help

They must have strong communication and management skills

Serves as primary initial intake contact for all HFJ clients to assess needs and provide coordination into help and resource supports

.Assist clients with identifying additional resources to meet their current needs

Processes requests for resource assistance

.Works in partnership with HFJ Project Director, Case Manager and/or Criminal Justice Coordinator to coordinate video interviews, CCDC visits, traumatologist interviews etc

Updates and submits HFJ information, brochures, applications for approval

Maintains familiarity with resource availability and new services providers

Researches and gathers information on systems for potential use at HFJ ie case management system
