Job Description

Hope Women’s Center – Phoenix is seeking to hire a part-time Administrative Assistant to facilitate our daily operations at the Phoenix location. General responsibilities include: greeting women and children as they come to the center; all administrative work related to intake, attendance, classes, mentoring, data input, material resources; answering phones; overall coordination of daily activities in center; donor & community tours; assistance as needed to Center Manager and CEO; light cleaning at end of day; material preparation and distribution; general administrative duties.

The qualified candidate will have a minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent and experience in administrative work. Due to a large number of Spanish speaking clients this location serves, the candidate must be fluent in both English & Spanish. The qualified candidate must also have a strong desire to work with the poor, the vulnerable and the broken. Hope Women’ Center is a dynamic and people-intensive organization.

The candidate may be required to work a flexible schedule within the allotted part-time hours including an occasional evening or Saturday if during an event.

The Phoenix Center is located at 1640 E. McDowell Road, Phoenix 85006.

Cleared Background Check and/or Fingerprint Clearance required. The Administrative Assistant must have a mature, committed relationship with Jesus Christ and be in agreement with HWC’s Statement of Faith.

Part-time position: Approximately 22 hours per week. Current Center hours are Monday-Thursday, 9:00am-2pm. Additional hours may be available during some weeks. Hourly rate of pay dependent upon experience. No health benefits at this time.
