Our Convictions and Beliefs
The Bible – We believe the Bible, consisting of the Old and New Testament, to be the only inspired, inerrant, infallible, authoritative Word of God written.
The Trinity – We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.
The Lord Jesus Christ – We believe in the deity of Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.
Redemption – We believe that for salvation of lost and sinful man regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.
The Holy Spirit – We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by Whose indwelling power and fullness the Christian is enabled to live a godly life in this present evil world.
The Resurrection – We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life, and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.
Spiritual Unity – We believe in the spiritual unity of all believers in Christ.
Governance & Staff
We believe that Christ has vested the authority of His Church in the members of the local congregation itself, especially as they are represented in a local body of elected leaders (Council). The Council is comprised currently of four elected lay people and 1 Senior Pastor. The Council is responsible for the overall spiritual welfare and management of the church in accordance with the Bylaws.
Currently we have 3 part-time staff members; Director of Family Ministries, and Director of Music.
We are an independent congregation, a people of faith, united by Christ in a Holy Covenant, empowered by the Holy Spirit to obey the Great Commandments (love God and our neighbor) and Great Commission (make disciples). We seek to build up the body of believers for the work of ministry. Our worship is designed with an emphasis on believers, though we welcome and encourage those who are investigating the faith to attend our services. Our worship service employs a blended style of music with sermons based on either a book of the Bible or a Topical Series. We see our Biblical Mission as Glorify, Grow and Go:
Glorify God in all that we do;
Grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ through daily, whole-life discipleship;
Go into all the world, in the power of His Holy Spirit, to bring the truth of God’s Word and a demonstration of Jesus’ love.
