Single House Parent/House Parent Couple

Job Responsibilities:

We are accepting application for dedicated, energetic, House Parents for our childcare team! We are a non-profit, Christ-centered, organization providing home-like settings for youth. House Parents serve as role models and have all of the responsibilities of a parent in helping to meet the physical, emotional and social needs of the youth in their care. Builds and maintains healthy, positive relationships with each resident and team member and responsible for providing care driven by the Model of Leadership and Service. Maintains management of the home, performs home budget and money management duties to ensure good stewardship and efficiency of resource use and facilitates job shadowing and on the job training for new House Parents as assigned.

Job Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or GED equivalency is required
  • A Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred
  • Experience in childcare is preferred
  • Computer knowledge is required
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must possess exceptional time management and detail-orientated skills
  • Must reside on campus in housing provided
  • Must possess a valid driver's license. A commercial driver's license is preferred
  • Must be available for travel as needed
