SUMMARY
The Staff Accountant supports the mission of Queen City Pregnancy Resource Center by ensuring the integrity and accuracy of all financial systems and processes. This position manages the organization’s accounting operations including revenue processing, payables, payroll, reconciliations, reporting, and compliance in collaboration with the Executive Director and Development Team.
MINISTRY REQUIREMENTS

2. Expresses a sincere desire to reach and help at-risk patients considering abortion.
3. Believes in the sanctity of all human life from the moment of conception through natural death.
4. Strong commitment and dedication to the Sanctity of Human Life, particularly issues related to abortion.
5. Has a sincere, mature faith and can competently share the gospel.
6. Active member of a local church.
7. Committed Christian who has and demonstrates a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.
8. One year of experience as a volunteer or employee in some ministry capacity.
9. Experience in a helping profession which has entailed management experience or equivalent.
10. Skilled in interpersonal communication, coaching, organization, and problem solving.
11. Ability to provide spiritual leadership and discipleship for staff and volunteers.
12. Ability to fulfill responsibilities with little supervision.
13. Excellent discernment and decision-making skills specifically related to stewardship of QC PRC resources.
14. A demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards and a diverse workplace.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS
1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
2. Experience with QuickBooks preferred.
3. Demonstrated professionalism and tact in communications and collaboration with a diversity of individuals.
4. Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage seasonal workflows.
5. Acute attention to detail and accuracy.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Financial Management & Accounting
· Manage the chart of accounts; define and maintain bookkeeping policies and procedures.
· Maintain accurate accounting records, files, and internal controls to ensure the integrity of all financial systems.
· Reconcile QuickBooks to the donor database, credit cards, and bank accounts, monthly.
· Coordinate with the Executive Director to assist with the creation of the annual organizational budget and forecasts.
· Gather and track budget-to-actual spending data for internal review and grant reporting, quarterly.
· Prepare and provide financial reports as requested by the Executive Director or Board of Directors.
· Coordinate and supply documentation and analysis to auditors for the annual audit, Form 990 and any other financial/donor regulatory requirements.
Revenue & Payables
· Receive, record, and deposit all organizational revenue in coordination with the Development Team.
· Process and pay all invoices and reimbursements in a timely and accurate manner.
· Maintain documentation for all income and expense transactions for accurate reporting and audit trail.
Payroll & Benefits
· Set up, process, and reconcile payroll activities using ADP payroll software.
· Maintain employee payroll records and assist with payroll-related compliance reporting as needed.
Grant & Program Reporting
· Gather and organize financial data required for grant reports and reimbursements.
Insurance & Compliance
· Procure and maintain appropriate insurance coverage for the organization.
· Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial reporting requirements.
Team & Mission Engagement
· Attend and participate in relevant meetings including monthly staff meetings and regular 1:1 meetings with the Executive Director.
· Collaborate closely with the Development Team to ensure accurate donor and financial data integration.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
1. Assume any other responsibilities deemed necessary by the Executive Director.
2. Attend major QC PRC events and available to help as directed by the Executive Director.
Receive a written evaluation by the Executive Director after 90 days in the position and annually thereafter.
