A full time salaried position reporting directly to the pastor.
Provide vision and direction to all aspects of Cool Spring’s High School ministry, TRIB3, including programming, relationships, student leadership development, and physical space.
Establish and maintain healthy, supportive relationships with high school students and parents, which may involve outreach beyond church-sponsored events and activities.
Oversee and lead in the weekly planning and programming for High School Ministry, currently Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings.
Identifying, equipping, encouraging, and providing feedback and oversight to small group high school and special needs leaders on a regular basis.
Collaborate and coordinate on a regular basis (i.e. weekly or as appropriate) with various church ministries, including but not limited to middle school and special needs ministries, in the planning of large-scale events (i.e. retreats, conferences, and mission trips) and to ensure student and related family needs are being met.
Prepare and submit an annual budget for the High School Ministry to the Finance Team; supervise the expenditures of that budget during the fiscal year, in consultation with the Ministry Teams. Practice good stewardship of the funds allocated.
Perform hospital/bereavement visits as necessary.
Serve on Ministry Council.
