Miami Rescue Mission is a Christian Social Services Agency/Ministry, located in downtown Miami. Since 1922, Miami Rescue Mission has been serving the homeless in South Florida, providing shelter, rehabilitation, addictions counseling, and offering life-changing opportunities to homeless men, women, and children, with the love of Christ.
The A/C & Electrical Technician reports to the Industrial Division Director, and is primarily responsible for servicing air conditioning units, electric motors, heating units, compressors, intake and exhaust fans, and humidifiers.
Education/Experience: Requires a High School Diploma or GED, HVAC certification, and a valid Florida driver’s license. Must have at least 3-5 years of experience in servicing air conditioning and electrical units. The A/C & Electrical Technician must understand basic refrigeration cycle to include: identifying components in refrigeration circuit, pressure/temperature measuring devices, refrigeration recovery/evacuation/charging, basic electron theory, different kinds of circuits, and know how to troubleshoot heating systems.
Compensation: $18.00 – $24.00 per hour
