Experience: Min. 2 years ministry experience, proven leadership ability. Education: Min. High School. Seminary education preferred
Requirements:
In addition to the general competencies, You should:-
a. Share the beliefs and core values of Deeperlife Outreach Ministries.
b. Be able to develop and model personal spiritual disciplines (i.e) prayer, fasting, meditation, study of the word, servant-hood, submission, etc.
c. Carry out biblical shepherding, caring for the spiritual well-being of the members and friends of the church.
d. Develop and utilize skills in personal counseling and human relations.
e. Maintain positive intra-church relationships through constant, open and effective communications with members, fellow-workers and be sensitive to the role of church government.
f. Display biblical integrity and ethics in such areas as in the treatment of others, confidentiality, dependability, impartiality, etc.
g. Have a general knowledge of the nature, history, importance, background and content of the bible.
h. Have a working knowledge of the various methods of bible studies, teaching, evangelism, etc, and be able to utilize those methods in growing the church. (spiritually and numerically)
i. Prepare and preach doctrinally sound and effective sermons based on the word of God, under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit.
j. Display relational skills to effectively interact and work with others. Provide visionary leadership by clearly demonstrating God-given vision for the ministries and future of the church.
k. Lead the church in the process of discipleship and assimilation of new members/attendees.
l. Lead the church in fulfilling the great commission within the local community.
m. Manage the various demands placed upon the spiritual, physical and emotional resources of a pastor through balanced sessions of personal retreat, restoration and recreation.
