Program Manager, New Orleans Neighborhood Rebuild

New Orleans, LA - Seeking an experienced manager with strong construction background to lead volunteer teams in building and refurbishing homes in the 8th Ward of New Orleans.

Candidate will have proven experience in all aspects of construction and construction management, including oversight of work performed by subcontractors.

Position also requires the following proven skill sets:

*Volunteer management ... ability to motivate and lead volunteer teams to implement program goals
*Strong written and verbal communications skills
*Ability to work with local churches and civic leaders
*Adept at coordination with municipal departments, and
*Building media and community awareness for the project

Timeframe: 1 to 2 year commitment.
