Are you looking to make a life-changing difference in the lives of the marginalized members of our community? Since 1985, Door of Hope has been a place of hope and restoration for hundreds of families in need. Our mission is simple: to equip families to rebuild their lives and break the cycle of homelessness. If you desire to be a catalyst for change, we want to hear from you.


The Manager of Corporate & Government Relations will commit to growing Door of Hope’s corporate partnerships, creating and implementing a strategic corporate partnership plan, while also managing all of Door of Hope’s government funding and small foundation grants. The Manager of Corporate & Government Relations reports to and works closely with the Executive Director, passionately and creatively sharing Door of Hope’s vision of equipping families to break the cycle of homelessness.


  • Manage corporate fundraising efforts:
    • Cultivate new corporate relationships for grants and event sponsorship
    • Work with Manager of Volunteers to engage corporate volunteer groups as corporate and individual donors
    • Represent Door of Hope at corporate and business events
  • Manage government fundraising efforts:
    • Act as primary point person for government grants
    • Assess viability of applications for new government funding
  • Work with contract Grant Writer as needed on private foundation grants
  • General Development Team duties
  • Perform any other task necessary to support the mission of Door of Hope


  • Commitmen t to the mission of Door of Hope and a desire to live out Christian faith through service
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant experience
  • 2-3 years of non-profit development experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent people skills, creativity, and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptionally well-organized and detail-oriented
  • Experience in grant-writing or comparable professional writing experience
  • Computer Skills: full fluency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; with Salesforce or similar donor databases is a plus, ability to learn is a must
  • Other desired (optional) skills and experience: corporate relations experience and/or familiarity with local business community, special events planning, social media and internet communication experience, design skills
