Description
The Manager of Individual Giving plans, coordinates and implements Door of Hope’s individual donor program, as well as the mass communications strategy for individual donors and prospects. The Manager of Individual Giving reports to and works closely with the Executive Director, building and strengthening existing relationships and engaging new donors. This person should be passionate about creatively sharing Door of Hope’s vision, expanding our reach and growing our individual donor program to support Door of Hope’s life-changing programs, equipping families to break the cycle of homelessness.

Responsibilities
•           Manage individual giving strategy, coordinating all Point of Entry events, Annual Ask Event, and other cultivation events, systematically cultivating individual donors
•           Meticulously maintain individual prospect records in Salesforce and prospect research to support the Executive Director and Development Team
•           Work with Development Team to identify individuals for donor cultivation
•           Manage PR and communication efforts through a communication plan including regular mass email, mailings, social media, media and website
•           Perform any other task necessary to support the mission of Door of Hope

Qualifications
•           Commitment to the mission of Door of Hope and a desire to live out Christian faith through service
•           Bachelor’s Degree (Business, Marketing, Nonprofits or similar relevant fields preferred) or equivalent experience
•           Minimum 2-3 years of non-profit development experience or applicable sales and marketing experience
•           Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•           Excellent people skills, creativity, and problem-solving skills
•           Experience in mass communications and special events planning
•           Computer Skills: full fluency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; experience with Salesforce or donor databases is a plus, ability to learn is a must; experience with InDesign and/or Photoshop is a plus
•           Other desired (optional) skills and experience: non-profit volunteer coordinating, event planning, social media and internet communication skills, design skills
