Our unique residential ministry to troubled/ at-risk youth seeks an experienced cook to operate the kitchen in our residential boarding school.
Since 1981, Freedom Academy has ministered to troubled and at-risk youth on our residential campus in upstate New York. Our conservative, Bible based ministry seeks to offer families and their struggling teenagers hope in a Christian residential setting.
Every applicant needs to have a vibrant relationship with Jesus Christ and a desire to work in ministry. Applicants should have experience in all aspects of managing a cafeteria. They must be able to manage a small team, including student assistants, in preparing all meals. Must be capable of preparing meals for approximately 100 people at a time. Must be flexible and creative; willing to work within a budget and able to be creative in your approach to the job. Applicants must be willing and able to work with young people.
