The successful candidate will have years of experience in Children’s Ministry in a sizable church which ministers to hundreds of children; will have an undergraduate degree in a related field of study, a graduate degree would be a plus; is a member of the United Methodist Church and is well versed and solidly believes in the doctrine of the UMC. Additionally we are looking for someone with a genuine heart for children’s ministry that has a demonstrated track record of leadership in a successful program.
DUMC operates in a Safe Sanctuaries mode and all candidates considered would have to pass the Safe Sanctuaries background checks and fully embrace the Safe Sanctuaries philosophy.
DUMC considers this one of our most critical staff positions, and we are looking for someone who can carry forward and grow a well established long history of outstanding children’s ministry. Continually improving and growing our diversified children’s programs.
