• Single or couple with Metro Ministries Sunday School or YWAM-type missionary experience
• Position ministering to children, teens and families in dynamic setting
• Take the Gospel to the streets, love on people, have fun and be a part of seeing lives changed
• Must be a team player
• Looking for person of integrity with heart for missions.  I.e. a heart for God, a heart for people and a heart to do something about it.
• Must be a hard worker
• Must fill out application and provide Pastoral and character references
• One year minimum commitment
• Driver’s license and basic computer skills
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds & walk long distances
• 6-week training mid-June to July 30
• Paid position begins mid-August
• Room and board provided to trainees and staff

Ministry Profile: Walking Faith Ministry was established in 1996 and has been ministering to children and families in Houston’s inner-city since.  Today the ministry core is built around dynamic Saturday children’s church meetings and weekly outdoor meetings.  All of the meetings are full of fun but are of an evangelistic nature.  The Word of God is preached without compromise and people are given opportunity to receive the Word and personal ministry. 

The ministry also reaches out to churches and teens on a monthly basis through special evenings where sponsoring churches have the opportunity to come to the center and minister a dinner, Word and prayer to the young people of the neighborhood.
