Summary: Bethany Evangelical Missionary Church is located in downtown Kitchener, Ontario. We are seeking a dynamic Senior/Lead Pastor to lead an engaged congregation of 600 adherents with a combined average weekly attendance of 450 in both contemporary and traditional services.
Bethany At A Glance, including but not limited to the following:
- Missions – Local & Global Outreach eg.Deaf Fellowship, Persian Outreach
- Community – Outdoor/Live Christmas Pageant, Breakfast Club, Community Sports & Concert events, VBS & Out of the Cold
- Youth – Conferences, Weekly Social and Teaching Time to 100 junior and senior highs.
- Family – Kids Adventure Club, Small Groups & varied adult programs
- Worship – Praise Teams, Choir & Seasonal Cantatas
- Prayer – Planned times of prayer & fasting
Pastoral Responsibilities:
- Primary preaching pastor
- Lead an interdependent staff of 5
- Cast the vision and direction of the church
- Ex-officio member of all church committees
- Encouragement and development of all ministry leaders (lay and junior staff)
