LNI is seeking a software engineer for an internal software development effort for a consumer software application and protocol stack in the personal health space. This effort is based largely on the IEEE 11073-20601 protocol and the Continua Health Alliance guidelines. The candidate must be able to work effectively with a project manager, protocol architect and a QA manager to deliver a portable, high quality product that operates on multiple platforms. This project represents an effort to establish a consumer health product line based on the Continua Health Alliance end-to-end architecture. LNI expects this project will grow to accommodate the growing need for remote home medical devices and data collection.
Qualifications:
Experience:
Minimum BS Computer Science or related field
1-3 years software development in small teams preferred, not required.
Identifying and resolving problems & technical issues associated with development environments, including compilers, linkers, debuggers, source code control systems, and IDEs.
Experience with C, C++, Java, WebServices, XML
Protocols including USB, Bluetooth, and 11073
Windows, Linux, Android development including windows USB drivers & installers
Microsoft Visual Studio development environment, GNU tools for Linux and Eclipse.
Applying coding standards and working with team members to ensure overall software quality.
Pay and Benefits
Salary Full-Time: 40,000 – 50,000
