Have you ever asked yourself "Why can't I find any jobs that fit me?"  If you aren't finding jobs that fit on online job boards, etc. then try asking a new question: "Who would hire someone with my skills, abilities, background, and interests?"  This new question will start you down a much more effective path to finding work that fits your design.

Here are some resources that can help you find employers who could potentially need someone just like you.  Also, these resources can help you learn about employers who have already scheduled you for an interview.  Here are several of the better online resources for finding employers, including Christian organizations.

1)      Business.com

This directory contains more than 400,000 listings within 25,000 industry, product and service subcategories.

2)      Vault.com

Provides guides to companies, including many anonymous interviews with current and past employees. Some of the information available is fee based.

3)      Hoover's Online

Over 8000 company profiles including contact names, and links to business news resources. Much of the standard profile information is free, however, they also offer subscriber fee based detailed profiles.

4)      Telephone Directories

Telephone  directories are very easy and effective in locating employers by industry in the geographical areas you are pursuing.

5)      ChristianJobFair.com

A great way to search Christian employers is to use the ChristianJobFair.com which provides descriptions of different Christian employers and a link to their current openings.

6)      Ecfa.org

Another great resource where you can find more Christian employers listed is the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability.   Their directory allows you to learn about hundreds of Christian organizations by category.
